OUR TEAM

Dr. Daphne Johnson

Dr. Johnson has worked as a veterinarian in the gorge for 6 years before opening Arrowleaf Veterinary. Of course, every pet leads a unique life and has unique needs. Her goal is to find the perfect solution for every pet to lead their healthiest life. In her spare time, Dr. Johnson can be found mountain biking with her dog, skiing or playing her banjo.

Dr. michelle Morelos

Dr. Michelle Morelos has practiced as a veterinarian in the Gorge and Portland since 2014, and in 2023 she joined Dr. Johnson as a partner at Arrowleaf Veterinary. Her medical interests include chronic disease management, dentistry, ultrasonography, and geriatric care. When Dr. Morelos is not caring for animals, you can find her mountain biking, backpacking, weight lifting, or enjoying a good meal with friends and family. Her favorite adventure buddies are her partner, Bekah, and her pitbull Moxi!

Kylie

Kylie moved to the Gorge in 2019 from Minnesota, after falling in love with the area during a short trip. One of Kylie’s passions is meeting and taking care of people and their pets. She grew up around animals - from pigs and dairy cows at her grandparents’ farm to the one-eyed Appaloosa she spent her evenings riding. In her free time, Kylie and Kamaji can be found bounding off on adventures together all over the Pacific Northwest.

Diana

Diana is originally from Mexico and joins us after moving here from California, where she was working at a veterinary surgical center. Diana is passionate about animals, loves to hike, bake and explore the world from her kitchen by trying new recipes from around the globe at home.

LAUREN

After graduating college, Lauren fell in love with the animal rescue field and adopted her "foster failure" cat, Dobby. She has done rehabilitation work at Rowena Wildlife Clinic, and has been on the vet assistant team at Columbia Gorge Cat Rescue for 7 years. Lauren has also helped to host large spay/neuter clinics for local dog and cat populations in rural Mexico. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys mountain biking, yoga, playing guitar, and backpacking with her adventure dog, Saucer.

Lynda

Lynda is originally from Georgia and loves spending time in the gorge with her handsome boy KJ. She explores the local hiking trails and loves paddleboarding the local lakes and rivers. In addition to KJ, she has a Yorkie named Sassy and 2 orange cats named Kippin and Kyree. Lynda is Fear-free Certified and loves using her skills to help place pets at ease in the clinic.

Claire

Claire, born and raised in Hood River County, is very passionate about caring for animals. Growing up on her family’s farm, she has raised and handled animals, both large and small, for as long as she can remember. She is new to the veterinary field, but always eager to learn new skills and help care for animals in need. In her free time, she can be found outside on lakes or trails, or scouting out local yard sales.
